Visiting Nurse Service is a not-for-profit Home Health Care agency founded in 1913. Our goal then was to meet some of the health care needs of the community. Today, 100 years later, this is still our aim. We now serve 28 counties in central Indiana, offering a growing array of services.

After a recent CHAP (Community Health Accreditation Program) survey, Franciscan VNS was proud to receive an excellent CHAP Accreditation and Deemed Status. This award solidifies
the fact that Franciscan VNS provides excellent care to their patients, families and partners while continuing to properly document those visits. A comment from the CHAP exit interview included, Three years ago we were good. Today we are great! Be proud! Franciscan VNS would like to thank all of our employees for their continued dedication to their patients and the excellent care they receive. Without your hard work, these types of acknowledgements would not be possible.
